Christie returned to Japan when the sixth tournament was announced, seeking both Eddy and her grandfather. She returned alone to Brazil, only to find that her grandfather had also disappeared, and had apparently been sent to the Mishima Zaibatsu for treatment. All Christie initially knew of this was that Eddy had disappeared. Eddy agreed to work for Jin's Tekken Force in exchange for medical care being given to Christie's grandfather. When Christie and Eddy failed to win the tournament, Eddy, unbeknownst to Christie, brokered a deal with tournament winner Jin Kazama. They both entered the fifth Iron Fist Tournament to try and gain access to the scientific advances that might save him. The advanced technology of the Mishima Zaibatsu however gave her and Eddy a window of hope. Christie rushed him to hospital, where she was told he had a terminal illness and would die within six months. Ĭhristie's grandfather was eventually released from prison, but his time there had left him emaciated and weak. Christie entered the fourth Iron Fist Tournament hoping to find him. Eddy disappeared shortly afterwards however, intent on pursuing revenge against his parents' murderers. Christie quickly picked up the art and became adept at it.
